Welcome to the Stop Human Trafficking - Eastern Missouri,
Southern Illinois Network

Every day an unknown number of human beings are obtained through force, fraud, or coercion for the purposes of labor or sexual exploitation. We read about this horrible crime in other countries, but it is also happening in our own backyards.  This represents one of the gravest human rights violations that we face today.

Whether it is called trafficking in persons, human trafficking, forced labor, forced prostitution, the commercial sexual exploitation of children, or modern-day slavery—we must take action to combat this heinous crime.
